Q: Will I receive confirmation of my booking?

When you book online, you will receive two emails. The first confirms your booking details and second confirms your booking has been accepted. If you have given us a mobile phone number, we may also send a text confirmation acknowledging that your reservation has been accepted.

Q: Are your prices per car or per person?

Our price is per car. What your quote is is what you pay.

Q: How much luggage can I take?

The luggage space depends on the type of vehicle that you booked. Luggage capacity is specified under each vehicle type. If you are unsure about size please get in touch with us.

Q: How do I know my booking has been accepted?

When booking online, you will receive two separate emails. The first email confirms your booking details and second email confirms your booking has been accepted. If you have provided mobile contact number, We will also send an SMS confirming your booking has been accepted.

If you did find/received email in your inbox, please check your spam folder, If you can’t find your email, you can find your booking by logging in to your user account or by creating a user account with the same email address as the one you made with your booking.

Q: What if I cannot locate my driver?

If you cannot locate your driver, please call us immediately. You’ll incur a full no show fee if you leave the agreed pickup location and fail to make contact.

Q: What if I wish to cancel and want a refund?

Please email us at bookings@thekingscars.co.uk with your booking reference number. As long as your reservation is at least 24 hours in advance, your full refund will be kept. Cancellations less than 24 hours prior to your pick-up are non-refundable. Please also ensure that you have received confirmation that your booking has been cancelled or a charge may still be incurred.

Q: Will I be charged extra if my flight is delayed?

We have no fee for flight delays. Therefore, if your flight is delayed, we will not charge you. But if our drivers not available according to new arrival time we may cancel your booking and issue you refund.

Q: What if I miss my flight?

If you missed your flight, call us as soon as possible to inform us. If you don’t call us before our driver is dispatched, you’ll have to pay a full no show fee.

Q: What does the price include?

The price which is quoted is the price you pay, however any via addresses not mentioned while making the booking will incur £10 charge payable to the driver.

Q: How early do I need to book?

The earlier you book, the better your chance of getting a reservation for your journey. Bookings can nevertheless be made as late as 12 hours before you travel, on our online reservation system. If your travel must be within 12 hours, please email us for availability.

Q: Do i need to tip?

No, the price you pay covers everything. In the UK tipping is optional. However, you can tip if you are happy with the level of service provided by the driver.

Q: Are your drivers licensed?

Yes, all private hire companies and drivers are required to be licensed by Public Carriage Office in the UK.

Q: Do you offer wheelchair accessible vehicles?

Unfortunately, we’re not equipped to provide wheelchair-accessible vehicles at the moment.

Q: I'm a single female passenger, How safe are your drivers?

Through our service, you will travel with approved and trustworthy drivers only. These drivers have undergone an in-depth screening procedure. And they all have several years of industry experience. All journeys are automatically logged, including the driver and their information, pick-up and drop-off times, and the journey’s are tracked via GPS.

Q: Tell me more about Passenger Safety?

We’ve taken an aggressive approach to screening the businesses and drivers we work with, vetting them in all possible ways. Our partners are fully licensed for transporting passengers they must have with the Local Council Licensing Authority Office and are also fully insured. They’re all also available around the clock, making it easy for you to get from one place to the next without any trouble.

Q: Where do I meet my driver when I land at the airport?

Your driver will meet you in the arrival hall with your name board. If you do not opt for “meet and greet service”, then please contact your driver on the number provided and coordinate a meeting point with the driver.
